1) Many women experience burning pain at night. This can be felt as the result of lying down right after eating. The best thing you can do is not to lie down right after eating. Equally important is not to go the sleep right after eating as well. Women will usually feel some pain and discomfort in their chest and throat.

2) Women will usually start feeling of burning pain and discomfort in their chest, and slowly start to move up towards the throat (esophagus). This pain can also be felt if you haven't eaten anything for some time.
